Cliftonville Bandstand

From the series Bandstand Series
100vw

The Work

The sunken bandstand at Oval Lawns, Cliftonville, Margate dates back over 120 years. The first temporary bandstand was erected there in 1897, with the current structure a much more recent incarnation. A non too subtle toilet block largely disappears from view in my image, but the sign above the door lingers on.
